Two locations, a single point of contact

HILTI Italia, a company specialising in construction products and solutions, has chosen our spaces for its annual convention on multiple occasions. However, for the 2025 edition, the event was held at the Palacongressi and Rimini Expo Centre from January 30-31. Each location successfully provided the client with the ideal setting for their diverse needs, including training, practical sessions, and networking opportunities. And all with a single point of contact. We can offer solutions that cater to a wide range of needs. Let's take a closer look at how it all unfolded.

At the PALACONGRESSI, plenary sessions, gala dinner and DJ set

The scenographic project involved the installation of a circular LED wall, measuring 37m x 8m, divided into totems on multiple levels. This setup enabled the display of impressive multimedia content, creating a truly immersive experience.

A sudden change of venue at the end of the event allowed the 1,300 guests to return to the Palacongressi after a 2-hour break for the gala dinner. On stage, we had awards, a live band, and to top it all off... a DJ set!

Two 6,400 m² pillar-free halls connected by a 1,600 m² central hall served as the stage for the training activity. In these areas, training 'stations' were set up to enable 800 employees to engage in hands-on demonstrations of construction equipment.


The event manager's remarks

The Palacongressi had already hosted HILTI Italia's annual events multiple times. This year, in collaboration with the Newton spa agency in Milan, which handled the organisation, we proposed using our Expo Centre spaces for the practical activity that had previously taken place in hotel garages. The Expo Centre proved to be a practical choice, accommodating 800 employees in one location during the convention. The next day, the work continued at the Palacongressi, where the plenary was enriched with a particularly ambitious scenographic setup, designed by the agency in collaboration with Sound D-Light. After the sessions, the room was completely cleared of its 1,300 seats within two hours and prepared for the gala dinner.  The stage and the innovative 38-metre screen served as the backdrop for the evening's festivities. The availability of two locations was undoubtedly an advantage for the agency, enabling it to propose a project that seamlessly integrated both communication and training needs. Together with my colleagues, I was with the client every step of the way, and this definitely adds value to the relationship, fostering a climate of trust and collaboration".
