Virtual Tour

Origin of the name of the historical sites in Rimini

The park is one of the green lungs of the city with a breath-taking cycle lane that extends to the castles of the inland area. It was developed in the 1960s on the bed of the Marecchia river, which the Romans called Ariminus, and was diverted 1km north of the city in order to solve the age-old problem of the port canal becoming a landfill.
