Origin of the name of the historical sites in Rimini

Commissioned in 1447 by Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta, the Malatesta Temple is one of the most important examples of 15th century Italian heritage. Renaissance sobriety and late Gothic decorative styles stand side by side in the architecture designed by Leon Battista Alberti. Refined sculptures by Agostino di Duccio decorate the interior, where you can also see works by Giotto and Piero della Francesca.
