Povero Diavolo in the Top 100 of the best restaurants in Europe
A two-years of success, the 2015-2016, for the “Povero Diavolo” in Poggio Torriana (Rimini) which, with the young chef Piergiorgio Parini, wins the 32nd place in the Top 100 best restaurants in Europe of OAD (Opinionated About Dining) and the 4th place among the Italian restaurants.
The OAD rank shows France as the country most represented (27 restaurants) and with high positions – the first place is, in fact, occupied by Arpège, Parisian restaurant of the chef Alain Passard; there follow Spain (14 restaurants), Belgium, Germany and Denmark.
Italy too wins best positions: 14th “Osteria Francescana” of the chef Massimo Bottura (Modena), 15th “Le Calandre” of the chef Massimiliano Alajmo (Rubano); 27° “Piazza Duomo” of the chef Enrico Crippa (Alba). With its 32° place Povero Diavolo of the chef Piergiorgio Parini surpasses “Villa Crespi” (Orta San Giuliano) of the chef Antonino Cannavacciuolo.
In 2015 Povero Diavolo earn 90 points and 3 hats in the Michelin Guide; this year it confirms its scored 18.50 in the Espresso Guide and the 10th position overall, outdoing the very famous chef Carlo Cracco (18).
The restaurant in Poggio Torriana becomes also protagonist of a specialized service provided by Corriere della Sera, which ranks him at the 8th place, overall, among the 20 hotel offering the best level of food and accommodation service in the world.
