Cultural summer walks in Rimini

Discover Rimini has a wealth of cultural events lined up for Summer 2016. On Thursday evenings (4, 11, 18 and 25 August) take part in ART BY NIGHT, a cultural stroll with an expert tour guide  narrating the fascinating history behind Rimini's most significant buildings and monuments: the Arch of Augustus, the Malatesta Temple, the Municipal buildings, the Old Fish Market and Tiberius Bridge. The tour begins at the Arch of Augustus at 9pm.

On Sunday 14 August there will be a walk dedicated to AUGUSTUS AND THE IMPERIAL EAGLE, discovering Augustinian Rimini and the figure of the personage of the first emperor along with one of his most loved symbols, the eagle, which over the years has become an emblem of strength and absolute power. The walk begins at the Arch of Augustus at 5.30pm.

On  Tuesday, 30 August, take part in A DAWN WALK, strolling and chatting on the beach as the sun rises. An unusual guided tour of the city bathed in an enchanting and magical light, while listening to the story of how tourism was born in Rimini. Meeting time at 5.30am at the Port.

The walks are organised by art historian, Michela Cesarini, specialised in art narration and the history of the local Rimini area.
