Two important meetings will take place at the conference centre from 25 to 27 February, the “10th National SITRAC Congress -  the Italian Association of Corneal Transplant” and its 600 participants. Thanks to the venue’s state of the art technology, the event will feature live broadcasting of ten cornea transplants, performed by the surgical team of Riccione hospital, directed by Doctor Luca Cappuccini.

Saturday (27 February) will feature another healthcare excellence of the Romagna region, the Franchini hospital in Santarcangelo. Doctor Domenico Samorani and his team from the breast oncology department will bring the public’s attention to an extremely topical issue, in the "2nd Senology Congress Breast Cancer:  women’s health at risk”. The event is supported by the Regional Health Board and by  IOR, the oncological institute of Romagna and will involve 250 leading Italian specialists, with the much anticipated participation of Paolo Veronesi, Director of Breast Cancer Surgery Division of the European Institute of Oncology.

“The Palacongressi is increasingly becoming one of the most sought after venues for medical and scientific conferences, attracted to Rimini because of the highly advanced medical surgery divisions of the region’s healthcare system, renowned on the national and international scene, explains Stefania Agostini,  Event & Conference BU Director of Rimini Fiera – from this point of view, our venue, the quality of the services we offer and the innovative technology are major elements that influence the choice of our destination for events of this type.”
