The Palacongressi features in the "International Association Meetings" magazine
The Event & Conference Business Unit of Rimini Fiera is making its mark in the international meetings industry market. This year saw a wealth of new campaigns and marketing and communication initiatives, as well as partnerships and collaborations with leading agencies in Belgium and Germany.
There has been constant innovation of the Palacongressi's technological equipment and an equally diligent promotion of Rimini as an ideal destination for business tourism. The result? An increase in the international events calendar and Palas bidding for world-renowned happenings.
Last year, Rimini was the world capital of magic with "FISM Italy 2015", it is currently hosting "emc 2016", the European Convention on mineral sciences, the continental congress on sleep disorders, EUROSAS 2016, will take place at the weekend and the Palacongressi has just clinched the bid for "ISS 2020" - the international meeting on the scientific, agronomic and farming research of the world's most popular fruit, strawberries.
The new, and important position on the international market acquired by Palas has been in the opening article of the latest issue of "Association Meetings International" (AMI), the industry's leading trade magazine. "AMI" published a lengthy report with an analysis and comparison of rates and deals to customers from 20 leading European convention centres. And among capital venues such as Amsterdam, Vienna, Dublin, Madrid, Oslo and German "strongholds", Stuttgart and Frankfurt, they are also two Italian destinations: MICO in Milan and Rimini's Palacongressi. The article features the vast range of hi-tech services available at the Palacongressi, a valid justification for the increase in costs and offers, going on to say that the venue remains highly competitive for the quality guaranteed by a large international convention center.
