The 2024 ECSS Congress at the Palacongressi
Another important International congress is going to arrive in Rimini in 2024 the ECSS - European College of Sport Science (ECSS). Rimini was chosen to host the congress, after a tough selection process in the final round where it outdid strong bids from Lausanne and Gothenburg.
Thanks to the initial interest of Professor Claudio Stefanelli, director of the Faculty of Sciences for the Quality of Life at the University of Bologna, Rimini Campus and also "ambassador" of the destination, the Rimini and Palacongressi bid was presented jointly by the University of Bologna and the University of Padua, with the valuable collaboration of Professor Marco Narici, professor at the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Past President of ECSS.
In the team also our Congress Division and the Emilia-Romagna Tourism Board, in line with the strategic approach of the “Sport in the Bag” project.
