Rimini wins the bid for the annual ISPCAN European Conference
The Palacongressi di Rimini was chosen to host the annual European conference organised by ISPCAN, The International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect based in Denver, Colorado (USA). Psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers, doctors, nurses, representatives of NGOs and government institutions from all over Europe and further afield will flock to Rimini from 21 to 24 June 2020.
An estimated 700 people (totalling 2,800 overnight stays) will gather to discuss the most suitable solutions and prevention actions to combat the phenomena of child abuse and neglect.
Another important win for Italian Exhibition Group, which brings to a total of 5, the international conferences already scheduled at the Palacongressi, between May and September 2020, for a total of 4,400 participants and approximately 20,400 overnight stays.
In fact, Spring 2020 will kick off with the ISS International Strawberry Symposium, (May 2-5), followed in June by the ISPCAN Conference and, from June 26 to July 1, the SWESD - Social Work Education and Social Development congress. For those involved in inorganic chemistry, the ICCC, International Conference on Coordination Chemistry will be held from 5 to 10 July. From September 13 to 16, the venue will host professionals in the fields of medicine, physics, engineering and computer science, thanks to CinC - Computing in Cardiology Conference, dedicated to the latest frontiers of bioengineering applied to clinical cardiology and cardiovascular physiology.
