Technology at the Palacongressi di Rimini was born smart. We have always strived to provide organisers with break through services and solutions to enable the realisation of any project, regardless of their complexity or creativity.
An example of one of our high-tech systems employed during events? One which allows us to transmit and differentiate audio signals to all the rooms from a single source.
All the rooms are interconnected via Ethernet. Using a specific software from a single control room in sala della Piazza, we can transmit audio and visual signals to every room. For instance, simultaneous translation services can be activated in any room, whether there are permanent translation booths or not. In this case, we use our integrated services to distribute selected audio and visual signals wherever they are needed!

BOSCH GROUP DESCRIBES THE SOUND AMPLIFICATION SYSTEM AT THE PALACONGRESSI
"The Palacongressi was inaugurated in 2011, partnering with Bosch to define the standard and performance of all its technical conference systems and sound amplification in the main rooms, as well as the voice alarm system throughout the facility.
Bosch approached the project bearing in mind its client’s needs. The features to be developed included:
All these features led to the creation of a soldi and progressive architecture, ensuring that 12 years on, the Palacongressi is still a cutting-edge facility in terms of conference technology". Fabrizio Altomare, Audio & Conference Technical Manager of Bosch Security Systems.
A SUCCESS STORY
"The simultaneous translation system is pushed to the max, for example, during the SCIVAC international congress, which returns to the Palacongressi every year. In fact, the event involves the use of many rooms with many foreign speakers. In this case, we don’t have to set up translation booths in the smaller rooms and control them from the main control room, ensuring that the translators can remain in comfortable booths equipped with monitors from which they can follow the speaker who may be in a room on the other side of the building. This allows us to guarantee the organiser maximum efficiency and usability of our spaces".
