Bici Academy, the 2nd edition of the national bicycle retailers meeting will take place at the Palacongressi di Rimini on January 14-15. The project was devised by a group of companies who combined forces to strengthen the skills of specialist retailers. After the resounding success of the 2017 edition, this year, the following 16 companies that make up ANCMA (National Association of Bicycles, Motorcycles and Accessories) will take part in the 2-day Rimini event: AMG, Bianchi, Bosch, Campagnolo, Focus, Giant, Mandelli, Santini Maglificio Sportivo, Scott, Selle Royal, Shimano, Vittoria, Atala, Ciclo Promo Components, RMS and Schwalbe.
The programme includes the participation of 14 professionals sharing specific experience in their particular fields. The aim of the courses is to update retailers in the bike industry on the ever-evolving, dynamic market.
This year's event will feature greater public involvement thanks to various new approaches - an app which will allow them to ask the experts questions in real time and a workshop where participants can put into practice the theory they have just learnt, through activities that will directly involve the retailers.
Bici Academy is not just an end goal, it is a starting point for a new way of penetrating the market. A process that will keep players in the bike industry up to date with continuous developments and help create a professional figure certified by a pool of experts.
