IEG, CONTINUING BUSINESS AS USUAL AT PALACONGRESSI DI RIMINI WITH THE GRAND ORIENT OF ITALY AND COMPUTING IN CARDIOLOGY
From 11 to 13 September, the GOI event originally planned for last April.
From 13 to 16, an international conference on computing in cardiology will involve medical-scientific professionals from all over Europe
Things are getting back to normal at Palacongressi of Rimini. From 11 to 13 September the GOI (Grand Orient of Italy) will meet again for its traditional appointment which was initially scheduled for April but postponed because of the lockdown. The new dates have been confirmed with the staff of the Events & Congress division of the Italian Exhibition Group.
"United in diversity" is the title chosen for this historic edition which will include two exhibitions, one dedicated to colonial racism during fascism and the other to celebrate Federico Fellini’s centenary, concluding on Sunday 13 September with a conference entitled, The dream as a journey of the soul. Between myth and psychoanalysis.
On Sunday 13 September, the international conference, Computing in Cardiology 2020 will also get underway, ending on 16 September: organizers have been keen to maintain this important annual international appointment in the medical-scientific field, scheduled in Rimini, albeit with a limited audience in attendance. Professionals in the fields of medicine, physics, engineering and computer science will gather at the Palacongressi for an event dedicated to the latest frontiers of bioengineering applied to clinical cardiology and cardiovascular physiology. Among the participants will be delegations from Germany, Holland, England, France and Poland: over 250 will follow the conference both in person and with online connections throughout Europe.
The September calendar of the Rimini Palacongressi will then continue with two corporate events scheduled respectively from 19 to 20 and 25 September.

Streaming events, the Temple and Piazza rooms set up as TV studios, platforms for online registration enabling easy management and control of entrances and exits, temperature checks, mandatory masks and widespread distribution of sanitizing gel: these the main ingredients that made it possible to hold hybrid congress events in the Palacongressi from August onwards. Advanced technology and rules for safe business that IEG has put in place since the beginning of the emergency and that have made the special edition of the Rimini Meeting, held from 18 to 23 August, a true success story in these adverse times, in the same spaces where its first edition took place in 1980.
